For the first time in so many years, my family decided to have Reunion Dinner outside at a chinese restaurant - Fortunate Restaurant (Xing Fu Yin Char) at Toa Payoh. Had always had steam-boats for previous years' Reunion Dinners.
For the first time in so many years, my family decided to have Reunion Dinner outside at a chinese restaurant - Fortunate Restaurant (Xing Fu Yin Char) at Toa Payoh. Had always had steam-boats for previous years' Reunion Dinners. We ordered a Reunion Dinner package meant for 8 people but having feared that it would not be enough for the 10 of us (7 adults & 3 kids - 11yo, 6yo & 2yo), we added $48 for an extra head. However, felt a lil cheated cos throughout the course of the dinner, we found no distinct difference in the portion that was served for the normal 8 people or the supposedly 9 headcount! Consider a lesson learnt for future Reunion Dinners...
Nevertheless, a warming Reunion Dinner but I had to admit that I felt a lil jet-lagged still (after just coming back from Turkey the evening before) during the entire dinner. =P
