The Covenant
State of Being : Entertained 
Utilised a pair of complimentary tixs at "The Cathay" Cineplex by watching The Covenant. For a change, we get to watch a group of male "witches" instead of the usual female ones (think back "The Craft", "Practical Magic", "The Blair Witch Project", "Charmed" etc etc).
While the plot may not be superb and the acting kinda passable, thankfully the characters proved eye candy enough to sustain one's interest with the show. In fact, few of these unknown actors bear uncanny resembles to some Hollywood (rising) stars e.g. leader of " the Sons of Ipswich", Caleb Danvers ~ Josh Hartnett, girlfriend of Caleb Danvers, Sarah Wenham ~ Claire Danes / Christina Applegate, youngest of "the Sons of Ipswich", Tyler ~ Keanu Reeves.
Overally a rather entertaining show, even though I must admit I wouldn't have watched the show had I not have the free passes. =P
Final verdict:
Plot - ** 1/2, Effects - ***, Substance - ** 1/2, Eye Candy - **** 1/2 (haha)
p.s. hmmm... even the posters looks suspiciously familar like that of "The Craft"!
