Dreams In Flight! B)
State of Being : CaptivatedAs part of the Singapore Arts Festival opening celebrations, the renowned Spanish troup La Fura dels Baus was in town over the weekend to wow us with its award-winning performance entitled "Dreams In Flight".
Known for its multi-sensory theatrical experience that often involves audience participation, spectators watched with bated breath as a giant human-wheel (reminiscence of a hamster wheel but only larger!) dangled capriciously over their heads while moving across the entire performance ground. While the performance may only lasted for a mere few minutes, but it was definitely exhausting on the part of the performers.

Next up on the performance involves an amazing aerial net of human bodies moving in synchronicity, magically suspended in "space". Accordingly, these performers are actually normal-day-people, like you and I, who partake voluntarily for this act!

Finally the show closes with a spectacular display of pyrotechnics as the sky lights up with brilliant showers of fireworks in a celebration of joyous optimism!
