State of Being : Classical Beauty
Slow Me Down - Emmy Rossum
Album: Inside Out; Genre: Contemporary
Was watching the AC Countdown Chart on cable's MTV channel the other day and that's when I got acquainted with Emmy Rossum. A Golden Globe-nominated actress for her role in the screen adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera, I wasn't even aware that she's actually a singer-songwriter and has released an album with Geffen Records.
Apparently, after her role in The Phantom of the Opera, Rossum was offered several deals to record classical albums, but refused, opting to create an album of contemporary, more mainstream music. Though her voice is not as vocally powerful as Sara Brightman in the rendition of "The Phantom of the Opera", she fares way ahead in the looks department with her classical beauty.
Normally, singles like "Slow Me Down" isn't my kind of music but it's just so soothing listening to her angelic voice. In fact, this song sounded totally different than the other pop 'mainstream' music that we usually hear on the radio. I guess that this is what they mean when you fully utilize your vocals without over-stretching your range like what those current American Idols singers are doing on a weekly basis!!
Presenting my NEW room!!!
State of Being : Unveiling for the first time
It's more or less done, except for the artwork on the wall. Still contemplating whether to hang one of the readily available art pieces that my bro has brought over from his previous house or to do sth that is simply "ME".

Settling Down
State of Being : Finally finished unpacking!!! *yeah*
Wow can't believe it's been a week already since I moved to Punggol. Have been busy unpacking for the past week and only manage to completely 'hide' everything today! :P
Anw, here's some parting shots - few days before the move, on the day of the move itself, and one day after the move - on my previous home in Bishan...
2 More Days...
State of Being : Heavy Heart :(
Over the years, I have witnessed the transformation of this place from a relatively 'ghost' town to the present buzzling town central. Pity that I won't be able to see the circle line open before I move. I'm already missing this place already... *sob sob*
